Statement of Faith

Inspiration of Scripture:
We believe the Holy Scriptures King James Version, (composed of the thirty nine books of the Old Testament and the twenty seven books of the New Testament), are the Word and Revelation (verbally inspired) of God. We believe the Bible to be inerrant, infallible and God-breathed.

The Trinity:
We believe in the Triune God>>>God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirit. These three are co-equal and co-eternal. Each has His individual identity and separate responsibilities for the purpose of redemption, yet these three are perfectly united as Three Persons in One.

The Virgin Birth and Deity of Christ:
We believe in the Deity of Jesus Christ. We believe that Jesus Christ is the only begotten, virgin-born Son of God. We believe God the Son is God manifest in the flesh.

The Blood Atonement:
We believe that the shed Blood of Jesus Christ, the sacrificial Lamb of God, was shed to atone for the sins of lost mankind, and that this sinless blood was applied to the mercy seat of God the Father in Heaven. We believe that Jesus Christ’s shed blood is sufficient for all sin and “whosoever will” may believe and be saved to the uttermost.

The Resurrection of Jesus Christ:
We believe in the physical resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that He ascended bodily into the heavens and is now at the right hand of God as our Mediator, Priest, and Advocate.

Rapture of the Church:
We believe in the Rapture. The personal, pre-millennial, pre-tribulational and imminent return of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in the air. At this time He will (at the same time) raise those dead in Christ (Christians who have died) and receive those who are alive (those saved who are not dead) together to meet Him in the air.

Two Resurrections:
We believe in two Resurrections. There is a resurrection of the Just (saved) and unjust (unsaved). We do not believe that these two resurrections take place at the same time. We do not believe in the ungodly, non-scriptural, false doctrine of a General Resurrection.

The Second Coming of Christ:
We believe that the Second Coming of Christ takes place at the end of the seven-year tribulation period. At this time Christ will come as KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS. Christ will come with His saints to execute judgment upon the ungodly nations. We believe that the beast and the false prophet at this time will be cast into the lake of fire burning with brimstone.

Millennial Reign:
We believe the Millennial Reign is the coming one thousand-year reign of Christ and His saints. We believe this reign will be literal, physical, and visible on earth.

Heaven and Hell:
We believe that Heaven is a real place of eternal blessedness prepared by God for those whose garments have been made white through faith in the shed blood of the Lamb. Hell is a real place of eternal suffering for those whose names are not written in the book of life. There is no intermediate state in which the unsaved can atone for his own sins.

Justification by Faith:
We believe that man is justified on the single ground of faith in the shed blood and bodily resurrection of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

Baptism:
We believe that baptism is by immersion, and that only believers can be baptized. We believe that water baptism does not save anyone, but answers a good conscience toward God.

Eternal Security:
We believe in the eternal security of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ. Once a lost sinner has become a new creature in Christ, he can never lose that new relationship in the family of God which is based upon Christ’s imputed righteousness and not his own.

The Holy Spirit and the Body of Christ:
We believe the Holy Spirit baptizes and indwells all regenerated people into the Body of Christ the moment they receive Christ as their Saviour.

Separation:
We believe that all Christians are first to be separated wholly unto the Lord, and as a necessary result, they must be:

  1. Separated from worldly and sinful practices.
  2. Separated from apostasy and unbelief.
  3. Separated from disobedient brethren and doctrinal compromise with respect to all ministry and service.
